FYI: a remote unit can be purchased to use on the front gate. It should be 300 MHz with 10 dip switches. Amazon has a 2 pak of “Remote Linear Multicode #3089” for $19.95. State Filing Fees 1000.

Total $18,705.
Items To Ponder Concerning the Proposed Budget
Lien filing expenses are ones that will eventually be recovered. The cost to file a lien is $577.66 each. The KGE Board is working aggressively to recover over $30,800 in unpaid road fees.
It is expected that bookkeeping expenses will be closer to $5000 in 2024. The bylaw assessment is also a onetime cost. The PO Box expense will end in 2022.
We are still far shy of the monies needed to do significant chip sealing of side roads. The KGE board is committed to saving toward that goal. It is hoped that collection of back fees, a slim operating budget, and continued fee payment by the majority of KGE owners will eventually put us in a position to use road fees for road improvements!
